I have been interested in Genealogy for several years now. I started recording the names of my family in an MS Excel spreadsheet. It didn't take long to realise that I would need a decent computer program to build my database so I purchased Legacy Family Tree. From small beginnings my database of names has now reached approximately 20 000 individuals.

The source of most of my research has been GenLias. Other information has been gathered from the family trees of others found on the web. Unfortunately living in Australia puts me a long way away from any source of original documents so I can make no guarantee that my information is correct. If you can correct any information (or make any additions!) please let me know.

Surname interests

My first interest is the name van Buggenum however I have 4 000 other names in my database. The list of top 100 occurring names can be found here or for all surnames see here.

I am especially keen to hear from anyone who can find more information about the names VORHOUDIJ and IJSBRUGGERS.
